New accounts for the global superstar have revealed the astonishing amount she earned last year, according to The Sun.

Thanks to a $17 million pay rise, her total earnings came to $28 million — which works out as $77,600 a day.

A music insider said: “The Adele success story just rumbles on and on.

“It’s an incredible amount of money, more than you’d think she’d ever need.

“And she has always been very careful with her earnings so there’s no chance she’ll waste any of it.

“It just proves that she’s one of the biggest stars, if not the biggest, in her industry.”

The huge figures, revealed this week, will factor in sales from her record-breaking album 25.

Her third release, which came out in November 2015, sold 20 million copies worldwide. Nearly half of the sales have been in the US.

Paperwork signed by the singer said: “The company will continue to exploit existing recordings and the director expects the turnover to remain strong.”

Next year, her earnings will include her world tour, which consisted of 121 dates across three continents - including Australia - so expect another bank-busting figure to come out. She was forced to cancel two of her homecoming shows at Wembley Stadium last July after damaging her vocal cords, much to the disappointment of her fans.

During the tour she told her audience in Nashville that she was desperate to spend more time with her young son, Angelo, once she completed her dates — and try for another baby.

She said: “My son is about to turn four very, very soon. I’m starting to get very emotional about it because I feel like, once they turn four, they’re not really your actual baby any more.

“So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It’s like, ‘Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby.’”
