Kiwis who missed out on tickets to see Adele live in Auckland might be in luck.
Concert promoters announced on Monday afternoon that a temporary grand stand will be built at Mt Smart Stadium, in order to meet the "phenomenal" demand to see the singer live in concert next March.

Organisers confirmed that tickets to Adele's first two shows sold out in "a record-breaking twenty three minutes". Tickets to the third gig, released to the public at 12:20pm that same day, sold out shortly after 1:40pm.

According to promoters, the Brit singer single-handedly out sold every other superstar to grace New Zealand shores.
Not only did Adele sell the most tickets in a single day, she did so at a record-breaking speed.
In order to accommodate for fans who missed out, promoters said a temporary stand will be built on Mt Smart's north bank, enabling organisers to sell an additional 5000 tickets per show.
The extra 15,000 grand stand tickets will go on sale to the Kiwi public from 9am on Tuesday, December 13 via LiveNation.co.nz.
Adele will perform live at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland, Thursday, March 23, Saturday, March 25, Sunday, March 26 2017.
