But Adele, 29, is reportedly looking to return to her hometown, eyeing up a swanky £30million seven bedroom apartment on the market earlier this month. 

According to the Mirror, the Hello hitmaker looked at three multi-million pound properties in Chelsea - just a stones throw away from her Tottenham roots.

It is little wonder Adele is seeking to splash the cash, after the songstress was named eighth on the Sunday Times Young Rich List this year, and is said to be worth a staggering £125 million.

A source told The Mirror: 'Adele viewed the apartments about two weeks ago. All of them were high spec and fit for a superstar. She seem pleased with the properties she was shown and said she'd go away and have a think about them.'

Tickling her fancy, was a £29.5million seven-bedroom, seven-bath home which comes complete with 24 hour security.

Adele has built up an impressive property portfolio, having splashed out on a £4million mansion in East Grinstead back in April.

The Someone Like You songstress and her husband snapped up the 18th Century manor house nestling in 48 acres – giving them plenty of space in which to bring up their five-year-old son Angelo.

However the couple reportedly want to move back to London to be nearer to their families and Simon's daughter. Adele also has a lavish town house in west London.

Back in 2012 she bought a mews house in Kensington, for £5.65million before purchasing the house next door for £5.38million with plans to knock the two through in order to give her extra space. 

The house includes a display cabinet in which her Oscar for the song Skyfall is housed, along with the sparkly Burberry dress and Louboutin silver platform pumps which she wore for her performance.  

The global star came from humble beginnings, living in a bedsit above a flat in Notting Hill before the success of her 2008 album and has a close attachment with the city she grew up in.
