Just after the Adele rumours have been shut down, it has now been reported that Lady Gaga is in talks to headline the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The epic event which saw Coldplay joined by Bruno Mars and Beyonce last year will be hosted at the NRG Stadium in Houston on February 5.
Lady Gaga stunned people around the world with her spine-tingling performance of the the US national anthem at Super Bowl 50.
Billboard magazine has reported that the NFL is “hot on the singer” to get her to hit the stage for the highly-anticipated halftime slot.
So far Lady Gaga and her camp have remained tight-lipped about whether it will happen or now.
While E! News reports that in a statement, the NFL said: “We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show.
“However, at this point we do not have a final decision. We're happy there is so much excitement about the show.”
Last month, Adele claimed on stage in Los Angeles that she had been asked to hit the stage and she was unimpressed.
“First of all, I'm not doing the Super Bowl,” the Skyfall singer told fans.

“I mean, come on! That show is not about music. And I don't really...I can't dance or anything like that. They were very kind. They did ask me, but I did say no.”
She also added: “I'm sorry but maybe next time.”
Despite the British star's claims, the organisation released a statement slamming her comments.
“The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show,” the statement read.
“However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time.”
